De voorstelling groeide van 30 naar 90 minuten, en De Morgen vond de première van Zinloos Geweldig de beste comedvoorstelling van 2004. Neveneffecten tourde vervolgens door Vlaanderen en Nederland, maar niet altijd in de Nissan Micra want Jonas zijn ma had hem soms zelf nodig.
